Q
When I load AuctionMaestro Pro, I get the following
error, “Error Attaching to Selected Database
– Item not found in this collection.”
A1
AuctionMaestro Pro can not find the last Auction file
(.auc) or the last People file (.PEO) that you were
using. It may have been moved, renamed, or deleted.
You will need to select valid .AUC and .PEO files before
you will be allowed to continue.
A2
If you are using database files that are located on
a Network drive, check to make sure you have access
to that drive.

Q
Why can’t I enter a person into the Solicitor
Representative field?
A
The Solicitor Representative field
is a drop-down list of all of the people in your database
who are either marked as Members or
who have been defined as Solicitors
under the Classify Filter Section.
Q
I want to select a Solicitor Representative
for my item. How come all of my people are not showing
up?
A
Ensure that you have entered your Solicitor
into the People Info Entry Screen [3,1].
Then mark them as a Member, or selected
as Solicitor under the Classify
Filters Section
Q

from the Enter Donor Tab. Why can’t
I choose the right letter or change the Thank
You Sent field?
A
In order to make any modifications to this section you
must be in Edit Mode. To switch from
Browse Mode to Edit Mode
select the Edit Donor button.

I am trying to Print Preview my Catalogs
but it is coming up blank with the words #Error.

you must assign Auction Types and Item

button (and then press yes) you will be switched to
Edit Mode.
Q
I am printing letters and I have Letterhead paper that
goes down the left side. When I change the margins it
cuts off part of my letter.
A
Use the – Narrow version of the
Template and this will give you a 2”
margin on the left side.
Q
I am trying to select a Vendor (or
a Caterer) and no one is appearing
in the list. Why not?
A
You must first enter the Person/Company into your database
(in Enter People/Company names) and then mark them as
a Vendor (or a Caterer)
under Classify Primary Filters.
Q
I have set-up a network and when I try to select my
.AUC file it tells me that my USER.DAT
file is corrupt.
A
One or all of your computers has not been updated with
the Network Upgrade code. To check
this, look in the bottom right hand corner. It should
say Unlimited User License. If it says
2 User Licence then you need to upgrade.
